The Spirit Speaks

• The teachings of the Prophet William

William gave me this poem which I read at my daughters wedding.

My Girl

The angels must have sent you
When you came upon this shore
For you came with so much love
When you knocked on my soul’s door

You sailed across that sea of love
To find yourself a mum
And I was deeply honoured
For you chose me as the one

I watched you playing as a child
And guarded over you
I watched you grow into a woman
And I’ll always be proud of you

I will always be with you my girl
‘til forever finds an end
You are the love and joy in my life
My daughter and my friend

One day you’ll leave my arms my girl
When that special man comes in your heart
Just remember, no matter where you are in the world
We will never be apart.

Hi Sarah,
Yes, it was a very special day and such a beautiful poem for my daughter. It made me cry when I was reading it out with my speach and it made others cry too even some men!!
The wedding was in South Africa and my daughter is now living there with her new husband. sob sob!! :-)
I can see by your pic that you have a beautiful bundle of joy there! Congratulations to you too if it is your baby. Kids are lovely aren't they? And they never stop being your little darling ones even when they are grown up like mine are.
Love to you and yours
Norma

Hi Norma,
Yes that is my baby boy, Phoenix, he is 10 months old now. My baby girl, Madrona is ten years old and although always my baby, is growing up so fast. My children are constant sources of joy for me, as I am sure your daughter is for you. Space might separate you, but the love you share knows no boundries.

Bright Blessings,
Sarah

Hi ya,
How gorgeous he is and yes, they are a joy aren't they. I had 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. My first was Sandra who was born mentally and physically disabled and I nursed her for 16yrs til her passing. Deb is my second, she's in Capetown and my son, who was such a joy when he arrived is living in Sydney, Aus with his new wife. Just waiting on my first grandchild now which should be in SA.
You are so right about the distance between us, we have always been very close and nothing can change that.
Love
Norma
